Students in the news
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- The Canadian Jewish News interviews Quebec Jewish students about the provincial election, including Concordia political science student Jeremy Elbaz.
- Melissa Kate Wheeler, president of the CSU, appeared on CBC Homerun yesterday with Samuel Felix Harris, VP external for the McGill University Student Union, to discuss student voter suppression. Métro and Le Huffington Post Québec publish articles about the CSU and the McGill Student Union speaking against voter suppression. CJAD also publishes a similar story and quotes Cassie Smith, who is on the board of directors with QPIRG-Concordia. The Montreal Gazette publishes a story about Julius Grey, a human rights lawyer, will be representing McGill and Concordia students who were denied the right to vote.
