Students in the news
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- The Canadian Press published an article about the performance of Alexandre Bilodeau, two-time Olympic gold medallist and John Molson School of Business student specializing in accountancy, at the World Cup for freestyle skiing. Bilodeau is retiring and took his third straight World Cup title on Friday, March 21. The story is reprised by the The Montreal Gazette, The Globe and Mail, Brampton Guardian, TSN, CBC Sports, The Star Phoenix, Le Veil and The Chronicle Herald.
- The Montreal Gazette features a story about the Montreal Expos and quotes Concordia student Michael Farruggia who grew up playing baseball for Lac St-Louis.
- TSN publishes an article about the CFL National combine that took place in Toronto. The article mentions Quinn Smith, a Concordia Stinger defensive lineman. A similar story appears in The Winnipeg Free Press, CTV News, The Calgary Herald, CP24, The Toronto Star, The Record and Metro.
