- Research conducted by Tarek Zayed, professor in the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering, is featured in Le Journal de Montréal. Zayed’s study investigated the relationship between materials used in pavement markings, their age and durability. His research showed that snowplows are the biggest culprit in erasing pavement markings and that switching paint could save cars and lives.
- Métro features research conducted by psychology researchers Sarah Liu and Carsten Wrosch from Concordia’s Centre for Research in Human Development. Their study found that higher self-esteem can help protect against potential health threats linked to the transition into older adulthood.
