- Rodale News features research by Lea Katsanis, professor in the Department of Marketing, that was conducted in collaboration with recent John Molson School of Business graduate Erica Leonard. They found that pharmaceutical companies are using the same marketing strategies as consumer-focused companies such as Apple, Coca-Cola and Harley Davidson. The study was also featured on EHR Intelligence, Medtera Solutions, Health Products Guru, The Pharma Letter, First Word Pharma, Creative Urban and Culture, Pharma Journal (Greece), Pharmaceutical Intelligence and Green Pharmacy.
- Research conducted by Ingrid Bachmann, professor in the Department of Studio Arts, in collaboration with a Toronto-based medical research group, investigates the emotional or psychological states of a heart transplant recipient post-surgery. The project is called Hybrid Bodies and is an evolving multi-sensory exhibit that provides a creative context in which to discuss and explore organ recipients’ experiences and cultural views about transplantation. The project is on display at the Phi Centre until March 15: The Montreal Gazette.
