Students in the news

Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:

  • The blog Don’t Mess with Taxes features a story about Olympic gold medalist Alexandre Bilodeau who is a student in the John Molson School of Business and specializes in accounting.

  • The McGill Reporter interviews Josie Torossian, a student in the Department Classics, Modern Languages and Linguistics, and Aselin Weng, a McGill physical therapy student, who founded Seeing Voices Montreal (SVM), the only deaf theatre company in Canada.

  • La Presse publishes an op-ed written by Carolyne Belso, a Concordia student, about her experience dealing with hospitals and Montreal’s psychiatric system as her family tried to get her brother-in-law help for his mental health problems.
