Expert commentators

Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:

  • The Toronto Sun publishes a column in reaction to a study released by the Canadian Council of Muslim Women titled, “Women in niqab speak.” The research was conducted in collaboration with Lynda Clarke, professor in the Department of Religion.

  • The Montreal Gazette publishes a blog post in response to a piece in Mashable on Thursday that language debates are holding Montreal back from being a “powerhouse for startups.” The article pulls a quote from a piece that was originally published in the Concordia Magazine from Harold Simpkins, instructor in the Department of Marketing, who says that social programs in Quebec are to blame for the low entrepreneurial rate.
