  • Dawn (Pakistan) features research conducted by Damon Matthews, professor in the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment, that found that seven countries account for more than 60 percent of the global warming between 1906 and 2005. This study is unique because it assigns a temperature change value to each country that reflects its contribution to observed global warming. The research is also carried by the Business Recorder (Pakistan) and Before It’s News.

  • Research conducted by Vivek Venkatesh, professor in the Department of Education, appeared in Decibel, the only monthly metal magazine in the United States. Venkatesh’s study looks at  racism in online communities by certain fans of black metal music.
