Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:
- Marc Lafrance, professor with the Simone de Beauvoir Institute was on Radio-Canada’s Medium-Large this morning discussing research into biological gender differences and the interest of Anglo-Saxon cultures in questions surrounding masculinity.
- Another professor with the Institute, Viviane Namaste, will appear on RDI tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. to discuss the Supreme Court of Canada case of Canada v. Bedford related to prostitution. CNW and Morningstar carry the media invitation to a news conference set for tomorrow afternoon, during which the Institute and Stella, an organization that defends the rights of sex workers, will present their official reactions to the Supreme Court decision in the case, expected late tomorrow morning. The invitation was also carried by more than 30 sites including Le Lézard and Digital Journal.
