  • The National Post has a front-page story on the latest study co-authored by William Bukowski, professor in the Department of Psychology and Director of the Centre for Research in Human Development. The research on same-sex schooling determined that all-girl schools presented challenges for students who don’t conform to stereotypical feminine behavior. The news release issued yesterday on the subject was carried by Health News Network, Press-News and AMEQ.

  • Innovation describes the work of Joanna Berzowska, professor in the Department of Design and Computation Arts, in developing clothing that incorporates electronic fibers to produce smart garments that respond to physiological cues from the person wearing them. Berzowska’s work is also highlighted in a media release from the Canadian Foundation for Innovation, carried in Le Lezard and Globe Advisor.
