Expert commentators
Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:
- The Montreal Gazette in its hard copy and online publishes an op-ed written by Nora Jaffary, professor in the Department of History, about her experience, as a non-Muslim, wearing a hijab as a form of protest against the Government of Quebec’s Bill 60.
- The StarPhoenix publishes an article about the growing trend of independent bakery owners in Montreal and quotes Jordan LeBel, professor in the Department of Marketing, who comments that artisanal bakeries are part of the “gourmetization” of food over the past 20 years.
- The Corporate Knights Magazine features a story about teaching corporate responsibility and how Quebec business schools are leading the way. The article quotes Steven Appelbaum, professor in the Department of Management.
