  • On Tuesday, October 29, at the Canadian embassy in Berlin, Van Ham Fine Art Auctions returned an 1837 painting by Andreas Achenbach to the estate of Max Stern. This is the 11th painting returned as part of the Max Stern Art Restitution Project, which is piloted by Concordia and led by Clarence Epstein, Director of Special Projects and Cultural Affairs in the Office of the President. Epstein appeared on France Culture and Radio-Shalom CJRS 1650 AM (no link available).

  • The Huffington Post Canada reprises an article that originally appeared in the Globe and Mail about the speculated severance package of outgoing BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins and quotes Michel Magnan, professor and Lawrence Bloomberg Chair in Accountancy.
