Students in the news
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- Maghalie Rochette, a student in the Department of Exercise Science, came in second during Cyclocross Verge NECX in Williston, Vermont. She will be competing in CrossVegas, the largest Cyclocross course in the Americas, in Las Vegas: Veloptimum.
- Yesterday the Canadian Press published an article about the Government of Quebec’s proposed Charter of Values. The article highlights the refusal of the leader of the Quebec Liberal Party to pass the Charter into law and quotes Yasmine Filali Baba, a student in the Department of Religion, who plans to become a teacher and chooses to wear a hijab. The article was reprised today by Bullfax and Red Deer Advocate.
