Expert commentators
Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:
- Nancy Zenger, a graduate student in the Media Studies program, appeared on CTV’s Canada AM this morning to discuss the TAG Critical Hit program. Zenger is a coordinator for Critical Hit, which is a 10-week program that offers the opportunity to students and aspiring video game creators to develop innovative experimental games, motivated by social, cultural and political concerns.
- The Wall Street Journal publishes an article about the survival of typewriters and quotes Darren Wershler, professor in the Department of English.
- The Montreal Gazette publishes an op-ed written by Peter Stoett, professor in the Department of Political Science and director of the Loyola Sustainability Research Centre, about TransCanada’s proposal to reverse a natural-gas pipeline to bring crude oil from Alberta through Quebec and ultimately to the Atlantic provinces. Stoett suggests that Quebecers should be wary of promises made by pipeline supporters.
