Canada's economy can't rely on carbon

Damon Matthews, professor in the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment, co-signed a letter to Natural Resources Minister Joe Oliver with eleven other climate scientists and energy experts. The letter explained that Canadian policy was delaying the transition to an economy that was less reliant on carbon: The Globe and Mail (online edition only).
