White roofs to the rescue

Weatherproofing Advisors Ltd. recently suggested that if all roofs worldwide were painted white it could have an impact on climate equivalent to taking all of the world’s cars off the roads for 50 years. This proposal was based on a study conducted by Hashem Akbari, professor in the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering: PRWeb.
