Edward McClain

Edward McClain who studied in the Department of Economics and was commonly referred to as the “Real Change guy” for his work selling the weekly street newspaper outside the Brooklyn Avenue Safeway store has passed away at age 69. In 1994 McClain found himself homeless and began selling Real Change to make a living, becoming ones of the organization’s top vendors: The Daily (University of Washington student press).
