The Bus Stop Theatre in Halifax will be presenting Heartwood, which opens on April 29, as part of the Mayworks Festival featuring Laura Burke, a graduate of the Department of Theatre. Heartwood is a play about Burke’s own journey from her diagnosis with schizophrenia, her recovery and how she lives with the disorder: The Coast and The Chronicle Herald.
