Gender troubles in media

The March 22 edition of The Suburban featured an article on research conducted by Krista Lynes, professor in the Department of Communication Studies who holds the new Canada Research Chair in Feminist Media Studies. Her research investigates how contemporary media art, documentary and independent film represent the complexity of the feminist political struggles under globalization.
