Research conducted by Bill Reimer, a professor emeritus in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, demonstrated that emergency response plans are more effective when they incprporate input and leadership from informal networks such as volunteer groups alongside the formal sources like provincial and local governments: AMEQ en Ligne, Science Newsline, Medical News Today and Science Codex.
