A Slashers is not what you think...

Posted on December 13, 2012

La Presse discusses research conducted by sociology professor Jacques Hamel of U de M, which looks at the recent trend of individuals being defined by more than one job or function. As an example, the article speaks with Tara, a part-time Concordia student, who is employed by Parks Canada, but is also a musician and student. Hamel names individuals like Tara as “Slashers,” which refers to the typographical slash sign.
