Celebrating a century of Jewish presence in a Quebec farming community

A group is organizing a celebration to mark a century of Jewish presence in the Ste. Sophie/New Glasgow area. The event will be held June 30 and July 1, 2013. Members of the community are invited to lend artifacts related to Ste. Sophie to be displayed during the celebration. The items will be collected and preserved by Ira Robinson, a professor in the Department of Religion, who is acting as a consultant on the project: The Canadian Jewish News.
