Questioning the effectiveness of group work

The Ottawa Citizen and Canada.com mention a 2010 study co-authored by Tracy Hecht, a professor in the Department of Management in the John Molson School of Business. The study questions whether or not team work offers performance advantages when compared to combining the results from the labour of individuals working alone.
