International Year of Sustainable Energy for All

2012 is the International Year of Sustainable Energy for All. Diane Bastien, a PhD candidate in the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering, is quoted in an article that appears in Le Devoir’s special supplement on the environment. Another piece, which appears in the same special supplement in Le Devoir, mentions that Montréal-Trudeau airport uses electronic blinds to regulate the heating and cooling needs of its newer buildings. The blinds were designed at Concordia.
