English immersion for Quebec grade six students

Starting September 2012, Quebec grade six students will fulfill their curriculum requirements in four months and focus on learning English for the second half of the school year. Micheline Schinck, who teaches in the Department of Education and acts as the president of the Société Pour La Promotion de l'Anglais Langue Seconde, discussed this new program on Radio-Canada’s Désautels on February 13.
