Manon De Pauw nominated for prestigious Sobey Art Prize

The Sobey Art Prize, an extremely respected recognition among members of the Canadian cultural community, will be awarded on October 13. Manon De Pauw, an instructor in the Faculty of Fine Arts, is among the nominees. The Toronto Star describes her work as “simple in form, but complex in gesture and psychological presence.” Entitled “L’atelier d’écriture”, her recent project aimed to derive meaning from the chaos associated with everyday interactions.
