Education and other distinctions

Arpi Hamalian, a professor in the Department of Education, was on CJAD’s morning show to discuss proposed reforms to Quebec’s education system. In other news, Hamalian was chair of the nominations committee for the YWCA’s Women of Distinction gala held Sept. 26. She will also represent the Canadian Commission for UNESCO as CEGEP Marie-Victorin launches a new UNESCO Chair in applied research for education in prison on the evening of Sept. 27.
