Harnessing sun's power

A new report from Greenpeace Canada, coauthored by professors Diane Bastien and Andréas Athienitis from the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering, calls for the development of more solar energy panels to minimize the burning of fossil fuels: La Presse, Le Journal de Québec, Métro Montréal, 24-Heures, Canoë Argent, Le Devoir and Radio-Canada’s Radiojournal. For its part, The Montreal Gazette reports: “Passive solar construction has been used mostly by architects and most notably on the local scene at the new John Molson School of Business at Concordia.”
