The Canadian federal government announced Thursday an investment of $121 million in social sciences and humanities research, to generate greater insight into economic, social and cultural issues and strengthen partnerships among academic, private, public and not-for-profit sectors. The press release states that Jason Lewis, professor of Design and Computation Arts at Concordia, will be funded for a project that looks to create partnerships for developing Aboriginal new media.
