Carbon dioxide and global temperature increases

The Herald Sun, in Australia, cites a study led by Professor Damon Matthews, of the Department of Geography, Planning and the Environment, published in Nature in 2009. "Each emission of carbon dioxide results in the same global temperature increase, regardless of when or over what period of time the emission occurs,” the study reports.
