Caroline Hachem

The Journal of Commerce reports that Caroline Hachem, a PhD candidate in the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering, is the only Canadian to receive a Grant-in-Aid from the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). She will study the effects of building shape, site layout and orientation on the design of net-zero energy solar neighbourhoods.
