Once again, the pass rate for the Level 1 CFA exam for students of the John Molson School of Business’ Goodman Institute of Investment Management was more than double the global average.

Of the students in the Institute’s MBA with Complete CFA Integration program who took the test in early June, 80% passed. The global pass rate for the more than 100,000 candidates who wrote the exam was 38%.

Ian Rakita, director of the Goodman Institute believes that there is an explanation for this consistent success. “Our students have surpassed the CFA Level I world pass rate for twelve consecutive years. There is a very close link between our program’s core lecture material and the CFA’s Candidate Body of Knowledge,” he says. “We also offer our students tailored study material and arrange for an intensive preparatory week leading up to the exam.”
