Visiting Artist Floyd Favel wins Canadian Media Fund Award
The Canadian Media Fund has awarded Floyd Favel, a playwright and an instructor in the Department of Theatre, $400,000 for his film Sweet Cherry Wine that will uncover 60 years of Saskatchewan Cree history. Favel is pairing with two Cannes International Film Festival winners, Zacharius Kunuk and Norman Cohn of Kingulliit Productions.
