Dr. Laurel Young gives keynote address at Annual Charles E. Braswell Music Therapy Symposium


On September 15, 2018, Dr. Laurel Young gave a keynote address entitled “The Importance of Music for Persons Living with Dementia: Knowledge, Assumptions and the Need for Professional Leadership”  at the 2nd Annual Charles E. Braswell Music Therapy Symposium held at Loyola University New Orleans - College of Music and Fine Arts in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. She also facilitated a continuing education workshop on “Enhancing Your Scope of Music Therapy Practice in Dementia Care.”
