Prof. Steven Stowell of Concordia's Department of Art History contributed to a new book edited by Prof. Carlo Vecce (University of Naples, "L'Orientale") dedicated to the books owned and read by Leonardo da Vinci. This project, which also included the creation of a digital library, brought together an international team of experts. Prof. Stowell contributed entries regarding some of the spiritual books known to have been in Leonardo's possession.
