Pablo Gilabert Awarded a 5-year SSHRC Insight Grant

The Co-Director of the Social Justice Centre and Professor of Philosophy at Concordia University, Pablo Gilabert, has been awarded a 5-Year Insight Grant by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) for the project "Work, Well-Being, and Social Justice."

The proposed research project focusses on the ethical aspects regarding access to work, its quality, and the justice of the social relations shaping it.  

Insight Grants support research excellence in the social sciences and humanities.

Pablo Gilabert is the author of 3 books published at Oxford University Press: From Global Poverty to Global Equality: A Philosophical Exploration, Human Dignity and Human Rights, and the newly released Human Dignity and Social Justice.

He also recently published an article on "Inclusive Dignity" in the journal Politics, Philosophy, and Economics.
