1. 15 Journalists attend training sessions for ‘electoral media content’

• 15 journalists from Kinshasa have been attending a training sessions regarding “media content during elections.”
• It is organized by "Journalists for Human Rights (JHR)," a Canadian NGO based in Kinshasa, supported by the Embassy of Canada in the DRC.
•  The training focuses on ethical and professional conduct of the delivery of presidential candidates, issues and information.

2. Alleged perpetrator of the Rwandan genocide arrested

• One of the alleged perpetrators of the Rwandan genocide has been under arrest since Wednesday in Goma, North Kivu.
• Ladislas Ntanganzwa, was reportedly arrested by his own comrades in arms on 3 December in Kiyeye.
• After his arrest, Ntanganzwa was delivered to the Congolese police. 

3. Mai Mai Simba threaten to attack Mambasa

• Mai Mai Simba threaten to attack the villages of Mabukusi and Epulu in the Mambasa territory.
• FARDC is on site in Mambasa to protect the inhabitants and travelers along Highway No. 4.

4. 47 Miners kidnapped by gunmen

Ex-Province Orientale: des hommes armés enlèvent 47 personnes

•  Gunmen kidnapped 47 people from two mining centers, located between the city of Niania, Ituri and the town of Isiro, Haut Uele, on December 5 -6.
• A woman was raped by nine assailants, she was admitted to care.
• Last November, 40 women were abducted in Mambasa by armed men. They were later identified as militia Manu.

5. Insecurity: Residents of Beni abandon their villages
