Julie Corrigan Receives International Literacy Association Award


Julie Corrigan Julie Corrigan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Education

The CSLP is proud to share that Julie Corrigan has been awarded the Albert J. Harris Award by the International Literacy Association (ILA). This triennial award recognizes a published, peer-reviewed article or monograph that makes an exceptional contribution to the understanding of the prevention or assessment of reading or learning disabilities.

Corrigan received the award for a co-authored article published in Educational Psychologist:

Prioritizing Equitable Social Outcomes with and for Diverse Readers: A Conceptual Framework for the Development and Use of Justice-Based Reading Assessment. Educational Psychologist, 59(4), 291–314. https://doi.org/10.1080/00461520.2024.2418400

In Corrigan’s words:

Julie Corrigan reçoit un prix de l’International Literacy Association

Le CEAP est fier d’annoncer que Julie Corrigan a reçu le Prix Albert J. Harris de l’International Literacy Association (ILA). Décerné tous les trois ans, ce prix reconnaît un article ou une monographie évalué·e par les pairs qui apporte une contribution exceptionnelle à la compréhension de la prévention ou de l’évaluation des troubles de la lecture ou de l’apprentissage.

Corrigan a reçu ce prix pour un article coécrit et publié dans la revue Educational Psychologist :
