SALTISE--Supporting Active Learning & Technological Innovation in Studies of Education—is a learning community service that brings together instructors and professional development staff from English and French educational institutions within the greater Montreal area, as well as other regions of Quebec.  Among its many activities, SALTISE recognizes excellence and innovation in education. At the 2021 SALTISE awards, several recipients have connections to the Educational Technology program in the Department of Education:

  • Andrea Cooperberg (MA Educational Technology, now a Pedagogical Support and Innovation Specialist at John Abbott College)
  • Einat Idan (MA Educational Technology) and Monica Lopez (MA Educational Technology), two of the members of the Dawson Faculty HUB recognized by the award
  • Saul Carliner (Professor, Educational Technology)

For more information about the award winners, visit the program book of the 2021 SALTISE conference and check out pages 12 and 13. (https://www.saltise.ca/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/2MB_Program_SALTISE-2021.pdf)
