Moshe Lander awarded Newsmaker of the Month for July 2023

The Department of Economics congratulates Moshe Lander, Senior Lecturer in Economics, on his recent recognition as Concordia Newsmaker of the Month for July 2023. Through numerous interviews in both print and broadcast media, he shared his expertise on many topics related to economics, including rising prices in housing, food, and other necessities, as well as the impacts of financing sport events and venues.
Recognised for the seventh time as Newsmaker of the Month, Moshe Lander is among the candidates for the 2023-24 President’s Media Outreach Award and is a two-time winner of Concordia's Media Commentator of the Year (2020 and 2021).
