Dr. Shapira is an Israel Democracy Institute Senior Fellow and heads its Nation Station research program. An Israel Prize laureate in history, she has taught and written extensively on Jewish History in the 20th Century, focusing on various aspects of Zionism and Israel culture.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Jewish Public Library on Wednesday, November 12, 2014.
