For the concluding session of this series, we are hosting two project teams that have built partnerships outside of their sectors to leverage the impact of their initiatives.

  • The Transitions Project is a collaboration between Logifem and Barkley Transport to provide caring and trauma-informed support to women as they navigate the challenging process of transitioning out of temporary shelter into long term housing.
  • Enuf has grown from a student initiative (Waste Not Want Not) that pioneered the implementation of a successful composting strategy at Concordia to a B-corporation that is building partnerships with cultural venues, boroughs, and a school board in Montreal to spread compost education.

Both teams will share insights on how building unconventional partnerships is helping them tackle social issues at a systemic level.

This event is open to all, register here or drop by if you are on campus.

Bring your own lunch or come and snack on what we have!

Please note this event is held in person, at the SHIFT space.  If, for accessibility reasons, you are not able to join in person but would like to attend the event, please contact emma.harake@concordia.ca and we can work together to see if an alternative solution is possible. A week’s notice will give us the best chance of making something work.
