Presented by CREATE SE4AI and Volt-Age, this workshop builds on the work of Concordia's Office of Community Engagement and the Dewemaagannag My Relations Guide to provide practical guidance for researchers seeking to collaborate respectfully and effectively with Indigenous partners.
Discover how Indigenous communities are shaping and transforming research practices, and why intentional, relationship-based engagement is essential to impactful research. You’ll also explore how strong community partnerships can enhance the quality and relevance of your research.
Through a grounded framework and guided reflection, you’ll gain concrete tools and best practices for working with Indigenous stakeholders in ethical and meaningful ways.
Join us on Thursday, May 14 from 10 a.m. to noon at the SHIFT Centre for Social Transformation (LB-145).
All are welcome, please register here.
