As the end of term approaches, deadlines can start to pile up, pressure can increase, and it’s easy to be hard on yourself. This workshop explores how self-compassion can help you navigate stress in a healthier, more supportive way.
You’ll learn how to respond to challenges with greater kindness toward yourself while still staying motivated and accountable. We’ll break down self-compassion into three practical skills - mindfulness, recognizing that you’re not alone in your struggles, and self-kindness - and explore how to use them in everyday student life. You'll also discover the balance between the yin of soothing and acceptance and the yang of courage, motivation, and action.
You will leave with simple, practical tools to manage difficult emotions, quiet self-criticism, and build a more balanced inner voice.
