This workshop will help you better understand how stress and anxiety affect both the mind and body, while introducing practical, body-based strategies to support emotional regulation and well-being. You will explore the difference between helpful and unhelpful stress responses and learn concrete tools — beyond traditional breathing exercises — to reduce the physiological impact of stress and anxiety in daily life.

Learning Objectives

  • Develop a deeper understanding of stress and anxiety and their effects on the mind and body
  • Differentiate between adaptive (helpful) and maladaptive (unhelpful) stress and anxiety
  • Learn practical, body-centered strategies to manage and reduce physiological symptoms of stress and anxiety
