Dr. Casey Burkholder's (Tier II Canada Research Chair in Social Justice in Youth and Child Studies) JOYLab partners with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities—including youth, families, educators, and allies—to create art and media that challenge rising anti-queer and anti-trans policies in Canada.
Using accessible, community-driven research methods, the JOYLab promotes social change through joyful, inclusive storytelling and collective resistance both in and beyond schools
