Join QUESCREN for the in-person launch of two 30-minute films exploring English-speaking communities in the Outaouais and Abitibi-Témiscamingue regions. Through personal stories and experiences, participants reflect on identity, belonging, politics, and life as a minority within Quebec.
Created using video ethnography and research-creation methods, the Regional Realities Series sheds light on local institutions and the everyday realities of these communities and aims to inform both public understanding and policy.
The screening will be followed by a short Q&A and a guided reflection activity to explore the themes presented and the use of creative approaches in research!
