What if you or your peers could show up to campus without having to worry about access, explain your needs, or wonder if those needs will be taken seriously? What would it take to create a campus where everybody can fully participate? Not only in theory, but in practice?

This interactive training session invites university students to explore how accessibility shapes our shared environments, relationships, and learning experiences. Drawing on real examples, we’ll unpack how ableism shows up in subtle and systemic ways; from classroom policies to social spaces, and how it impacts students across disciplines and identities.

Through discussion, reflection, and collaborative activities, you’ll gain tools to recognize barriers, rethink assumptions, and contribute to more inclusive spaces. Whether you're involved in student leadership, organizing events, or simply navigating campus life, this session will challenge you to think critically about who is included, who is excluded, and why.
