This online workshop will introduce Concordia faculty and TAs to four Moodle modules that explore the Rotinonhsión:ni Confederacy from an historical and contemporary context and will share ways to integrate these resources into curriculum and pedagogical practice. Topics found in the modules include but not limited to: Cosmology and Epistemology of the Rotinonhsión:ni; resistance to colonial policies and practices; food systems; treaties; residential and boarding schools; language resurgence and decolonizing methodologies.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Explore the online Primer Modules in Moodle as a digital resource tool to integrate Indigenous content into course design.
  • Examine diverse ways of how Faculty can design course content and assessment strategies drawing from the Primer Modules.
