You are warmly invited to join Concordia President Graham Carr for the annual Garnet Key celebration — an evening dedicated to recognizing student leadership, service and the enduring tradition of Garnet Key.

Together, we will honour the 68th Key for its outstanding accomplishments and contributions to the Concordia community, and we will officially induct the 69th Key, welcoming a new cohort into this proud legacy.

A note from the Garnet Key Society:

Community guidelines
We are committed to fostering a respectful and welcoming environment. Please review the code of conduct below for expectations around respectful participation.

Sustainable initiatives

We would also like to acknowledge the sustainability efforts incorporated into tonight’s event. Throughout the planning process, thoughtful choices were made to reduce unnecessary waste, prioritize reusable and recyclable materials where possible, and support local vendors and initiatives. Sustainability is not only about environmental responsibility, but also about creating events that are mindful, intentional, and community-oriented. We are proud to celebrate this evening in a way that reflects those values.

Territorial acknowledgment

We acknowledge that Concordia University is located on unceded Indigenous lands. The Kanien’kehá:ka Nation is recognized as the custodians of the lands and waters we now call Montreal. Tiohtiá:ke (Montreal) is historically known as a gathering place for many First Nations. Today, it is home to a diverse population of Indigenous and other peoples. We respect the continued connections with the past, present and future in our ongoing relationships with Indigenous and other peoples within the Montreal community.

RSVP by May 15.

We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including those with disabilities, to engage fully. If you require disability-related accommodations, please contact us at alumnievents@concordia.ca by May 15 to allow us time to coordinate your request.
