The hiring process is radically changing. Today, AI systems are shortlisting, ranking, and rejecting candidates before a human recruiter ever reads a résumé. LinkedIn’s new Hiring Assistant—an AI recruiter tool launched globally in September 2025—now determines who gets seen, contacted, or overlooked. Most professionals don’t even know these systems exist, let alone how to position themselves for discovery.
In this powerful session lead by Christal Agostino, BComm 08, you’ll learn the strategic levers that make you visible to AI and decision-makers and newly discovered insights that will change how you approach visibility, opportunity, job search, and executive or board-level advancement in the AI era.
What You’ll Learn
Christal Agostino is the Founder of BOA, the first Talent Representation and Media House for executive women, and a leading expert on AI-era executive positioning, strategic visibility, and career infrastructure for senior women leaders. Behind every visible leader is an invisible machine—and BOA builds that machine for exceptional women—an ecosystem of strategy, reputation, and representation that moves in the background while you move forward.
A marketing executive and board director with award-winning global expertise, Christal has led brand strategy, digital content, and partnership development for iconic brands including Air Canada enRoute (as Publisher, relaunching the iconic Canadian media brand), Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, Mercedes-Benz, Bombardier Business Jets, and L’Oréal Luxe. Her work has spanned creating a new luxury boutique hotel brand for Loews Hotels, developing bespoke experiences with Le Labo in the South of France, and curating programs with Universal Music Group at Abbey Road Studios.
A Cannes Lions Creative Academy Top 30-Under-30 Marketer and Forte Fellow, Christal has been featured in The Globe & Mail, Financial Post, Women of Influence, and appeared live on-air with BellMedia/CTV. She currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for Visit The County (Prince Edward County’s tourism organization) and as Guest Lecturer at Queen’s University Smith School of Business.
Christal holds an MBA from Smith School of Business, specialized in International Luxury Brand Management, from the LVMH-chaired program at ESSEC (Paris).
